Ecology Blocks are one of those items that we make work with the tools we know. Most manufacturers of ecology blocks do not intend for their blocks to be lifted more than three times with the loops built in. One time from the form. Second time to the truck. Third time off of the truck and into place. Most life cycles of the ecology blocks will see 20x the recommended lifts. And so we have stories of them failing all of the time. How do we fix that? Our Ecology Block Clamp is one of the safest ways to lift the blocks. If you don’t have a regular need to own a clamp, then renting a clamp can be a good way to have the tool you need, then return it when you are done with it.
Our Ecology Block Clamps are rated to 5500 lbs and are designed under the ASME B30.20 criteria. This makes them legal for use in just about all states and provinces in all industries. Our automated cam that locks and unlocks the system also makes it easy. If you are moving these with a telehandler on a jib for example, you could do this with our without assistance. You just need to set it down on the block and it will change from locked to unlocked. And then again vice versa. It’s fast and slick.
The rental periods are set up as a three month minimum. After the initial months, the rental rates decrease in costs. We collect the first three months in advance to reduce our risk exposure which allows us to deliver a lower overall rental rate versus our competitors.
